How To Manage Change Madness

How To Manage Change Madness
Change is around us all the time. Employers know this. Fortune 500 companies know it. People have built their careers on the fact that change happen. In fact, the definition of insanity according to Albert Einstein, is doing things over and over and expecting a different result - which means that change is necessary to succeed, to achieve the desired results. Who are we to argue this point?
Please take a moment to think about your life, what you have in operation at the time. It could be your work or personal life.
What do you do all the time, the same way and are surprised when it is still the same? For example: you have a relationship with someone who is always negative and dump on you all the time. You always go to the weekly coffee with them because you hope that this time will be different. In this example, is simply to go for coffee a week is very nice to you, but you exhausted and spent.
What if the next time I will let you know that coffee is positive if the conversation instead of draining. This honesty is one of two things: open their eyes and help, or you're not going to drink coffee again. The same applies to work situations as well.
In taking stock of the changes that occur in your life - whether at work or at home, should consider a few things:
1. Who will this change benefit?
2nd What I am trying to achieve (outcome)?
3rd Am I ready for this change?
4. What will this change?
5th How will you manage the potential backlash you implement this change?
6. How do you measure success? (Yes, even the personal change is a measure of success, otherwise how do you know if you've got to change anything!)
Now it's your turn. Get a pen and paper or head on your laptop and open a page note. Sign Out 2 changes and answer questions ..... you'll find that doing things differently will lead to a new result. You'll feel better about what lies ahead in the workplace and in your personal life. Simple. Easy. One step at a time.
